Not a big fan of the Hot Yoga 30-40-60-day challenges!
I think doing heated classes daily without a day’s rest is too much.
Running this in a studio is a bit uneducated, or not well thought-out. Especially if the room tends to be overheated and / or lacks fresh air!
And allowing or telling your Students to do doubles or TRIPLES (2 or 3 classes back-to-back) to catch up for the missed days is just insanely unhealthy! (Teachers, keep those hot-yoga-heat-obsessions at half-blast, seriously…)
Better idea? From my teacher Jimmy Barkan: ‘Five days a week for two months.’
Then, one knows for themselves how often to practice down the road, and their life will flourish.
